Does anyone else think the months are flying by too fast? I won’t be sorry to see the back of April though, it has been a tough month for us.
So onto the challenge which as ever is anything but a card. I wanted to do something a bit different and I ordered a resin coaster kit from Cat’s Protection. They have craft kits to buy and make how to videos to go with them. The kits usually cost around £20 and include all the materials you need and the online video. I have had some of the previous kits and some of them I still have to make. On this occasion I did not use the video, I followed the enclosed instructions. As I often do I misread some of the instructions, but luckily it didn’t matter too much.
I first painted the coaster orange with Acrylic paint and left it over night to dry. I was going to add some glitter to the resin, but forgot, I also added the flowers at the wrong stage, but they worked fine.
I am pleased with the finished result, although it is far from perfect. It was quite simple to create and I have supported the charity too.
