For the April challenge we were given a sketch to base our cards on

Using my Cricut Explore 4 I created the shapes and cut them out. Also using my Explore 4 I cut out a heart shape, designed by Enas AbuShanab on Cricut design space. I layered the shapes as shown in the image in whites and greens and added the heart for a St Patrick’s Day wedding anniversary. Finally I wrote the greeting on my Cricut Explore 4.

Using Chat GPT AI I was also able to create a background for the card which I think show it off better and can also be themed to go with the make. I am not really sure how I feel about AI, like most things I think it has pros and cons and it is scary that we no longer now what is real and what is AI. I used Chat GPT plus which costs about £15 a month, we have this because Rob uses it a lot for work. There is a free version which is great for occasional use. As GPT itself says;
Free
- ✔️ Basic access to ChatGPT
- ✔️ Limited messages and features
- ✔️ Access to standard models (with restrictions)
- ❗ Lower usage limits and fewer advanced tools
👉 Good for: casual use, quick questions
Plus
- 💰 ~ $20/month
- ✔️ Access to more powerful models (e.g. advanced reasoning versions)
- ✔️ Higher limits than Go
- ✔️ Better performance and reliability during peak times
👉 Good for: work, analysis, writing, coding
The basic template of this card could be used for any occasion and in any colours, I think it worked really well and have plans for other versions.
