Hello Pumpkin! A Card Inspired by Autumn

The nights are drawing in and the weather has turned cooler and crisper, but we’re still enjoying some beautiful sunny days. Autumn colours and seasonal produce are the theme for November’s Outlawz Twisted Challenge, which invites you to make a greeting card inspired by this image.

I love autumn colours and usually find them very inspiring for crafting. This season, though, I haven’t made many autumn projects, as I’ve been busy making poppies and planning Christmas crafts for my local care home.

While browsing Cricut Design Space, a few ideas caught my eye and soon had me rummaging through my orange card supply! I settled on a country pumpkin design by DigitalIdea, with lovely autumn colours and room to add a greeting. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find a website for the designer to share here.

Using my Cricut Explore 4, I cut out the layers and assembled them with double-sided tape. I then used the Cricut to write a greeting, which I added to finish the card.

Let me know what you think! If you would like a card like this, or any of the others I’ve shared on my blog, please get in touch at jane@craftyjanes.co.uk. You can see more of my creations at Craftyjanes.co.uk.

If you’re a fellow crafter, you’re very welcome to join in with the Outlawz challenges — we love seeing everyone’s ideas. And if you haven’t tried crafting before, it’s never too late to start! Look out for my upcoming blog post about the physical and mental benefits of crafting.
