Quick and Easy Seahorse Card

Is it just me, or do the weeks fly by? How can a day drag, yet before you know it another month has gone?

Somehow, we’ve already reached mid-October, which means it’s time for a reminder about the Outlawz Twisted challenge. We’d love a few more people to join in! If you fancy entering but aren’t sure how, please give us a shout or pop over to the Outlawz Fans Facebook page, where you can ask for help.

I nearly let the reminder slip past me this month! As it was my turn to set the challenge, though, I couldn’t miss joining in. I chose a simple but very cute seahorse design by Angela Zanin (AngyChan).

Using the Print Then Cut feature on my Cricut Explore 4, I printed and cut out the little seahorse and a blue background to match the challenge colours.

I added Ranger Glossy Accents to some of the lines on the seahorse, giving it a lovely shine for an underwater feel. To finish, I layered it onto the blue background and a piece of sand-coloured card.

It was nice to make a quick and easy design for a change and more like the ones I used to make when I first started making cards.
