Welcome to August and the next Outlawz Twisted Challenge.
This month’s twist is to use a sketch in your design. I did not follow the sketch literally, but instead used the shapes as inspiration for the main image and sentiment.

I created a stitched card using a pattern from Craftsuprint. I chose not to use the outer layer of the pattern because I preferred the simpler look and it fitted the size of card I wanted to make. I cut the white card into a circle using my Gemini die-cutting machine and a circular die with a decorative edge.
I stitched the design using orange thread and added a mixture of silver spacer beads, 6 mm orange rice beads and orange seed beads. I wrote the sentiment onto white card using my Cricut Explore 4, then cut it into a rectangle.

The stitched circle was mounted onto orange card patterned with tiny white stars, before being attached to a white card blank.
I used ChatGPT AI to place the finished card onto a pale orange background for the photograph.

I was so pleased with the finished card that I decided to make another one in a different colour. I enjoyed making them both and have several similar designs that I would like to try.

Anyone is allowed to make and submit cards for the Outlawz Twisted Challenge, why not pop along and show us your makes, but remember the twist!
