It’s time again for the Sunday song and rhyme challenge at Outlawz. The poem this month is called the Zebra Question by Shel Silverstein an American writer and cartoonist, born in USA in 1930. The poem was published in a book called Light in the Attic, published in 1981.

At first I was not sure how to represent this one. I settled on a talking Zebra and lots of stripes.

The zebra is a cut file from Craft with Sarah, cut on my Cricut Explore 4. I couldn’t find the assembly instructions, so took a bit of working out how the layers went. I have not found the instructions and think I got it right! The grey marble background is from a pack called Marble Backgrounds by Creative Craft products ( a Craft Stash brand, which is closing down). The zig zag is from my stash. The number 8 is a cut file on Cricut Access by BigmamaDesignStudio. The lettering is drawn and cut to shape on my Cricut Explore 4.

This was a cute and quirky design to make and perfect for cards for children or adults.
