The Outlawz Anything But a Card challenge for February does not have a theme, so anything goes.
I knew I wanted to make something heart themed as February is Valentine’s month. It’s a long time since I celebrated Valentine’s day, but my husband and I still exchange cards and gifts (if he remembers!) I had a few ideas for this challenge, I started by trying to make a heart shaped box, but it didn’t work very well. Then I found a simple heart lantern on Cricut Design Space, created by Donna Ange. I cut the structure of the lantern in red glitter card on my Cricut Explore 4, put heart printed vellum inside the panels and added a battery tealight. It was easier to assemble than the boxes, but still not easy to get it looking right.
Perfect for a romantic Valentine’s dinner.🥰
